Cape Cod and the Islands are not only great vacation destinations for people of all ages, they’re the perfect place to bring your four-legged friend. With more than 500 miles of pristine beaches on the Cape alone, there are plenty of places for you to explore with your favorite pup. But, we’ve found that it’s not always easy to find a pet-friendly place to stay. So, with Fisher’s help, we pulled together five of our favorite places that welcome Fido.

Lamb and Lion Inn, Barnstable

Not only is Lamb and Lion Inn a pet-friendly hotel, they go above and beyond to make sure you and your dog have a great stay. In fact, CNN World chose it as one of the world’s dog-friendliest hotels. The Inn offers self-guided pet-friendly tours and its tavern welcomes four-legged friends, so your pup can join you during mealtime.

Land’s End Inn, Provincetown

Provincetown isn’t just one of our favorite Cape Cod towns to visit, it’s one of Fisher’s favorite places, too! We love bringing him to Land’s End Inn, conveniently located on Commercial Street. The Inn has a variety of pet-friendly rooms available to suit you and your pup. And, P-Town is a notoriously dog-friendly town, so there’s plenty of things for you to do with your dog.

White Wind Inn, Provincetown

White Wind Inn is a beautiful bed and breakfast in Provincetown. The Inn has several pet-friendly lodging options available and is located just off of bustling Commercial Street. Be sure to pencil in an afternoon to spend at the beautiful Pilgrim Bark Park, voted one of the best dog parks in the country.

Benchmark Inn, Provincetown

The Benchmark Inn is yet another beautiful bed and breakfast in Provincetown. This pet friendly, former captain’s home is located on a quiet side street just a five minute walk to Provincetown’s center. The Benchmark is close to all the action, but far enough away to find a quiet spot to relax.

Mansion House, Martha’s Vineyard

Mansion House on Martha’s Vineyard is the perfect pet-friendly hotel for vacationers looking to check out the island with their dog. The hotel is conveniently located near dog-friendly Owen Park Beach and Veterans Memorial Park and each room comes with a bed for your furry friend. There are plenty of hiking trails and open spaces on Martha’s Vineyard to visit with your dog, so be sure to plan ahead!

BONUS INN:

Brass Lantern Inn, Nantucket

The Brass Lantern Inn is conveniently located in Nantucket’s Old Historic District and is just a short walk from the ferry terminals, shops, and restaurants. The hotel is pet-friendly (although there are some weight and breed restrictions, so double-check the website before booking) and even provides guests with beds, crates, and bowls for their dogs. With miles of beach and forest trails and dog-friendly shops and restaurant in-town, you’ll have plenty of exploring to do with your dog.
